Private physiotherapy in the heart of Clitheroe
Our new ground-floor clinic on King Street will open on Tuesday 3 November 2026, close to the bus and rail interchange. You can self-refer without a GP letter, or ask about home visits across the Ribble Valley.
Physiotherapy that starts with getting you here easily
Our new clinic on King Street, in the centre of Clitheroe, will open on 3 November 2026. It is in a stone-built terrace you can reach on foot, by bus or by train. If travel is hard, we can come to you instead.
Close to the interchange
The clinic shares its postcode with Clitheroe Town Centre Interchange, so the bus stands and the railway station on the Ribble Valley line are close by.
Parking a short walk away
Railway View car park (pay and display, with EV charging) and the Market car park are both a short walk from the door.
Neurological rehabilitation
Our physiotherapists can support people living with stroke, Parkinson's or MS with their movement and balance, as part of their wider care. Ask us whether we are the right fit for you before you book.
Book directly
You do not need a GP referral to book with us. If you plan to claim on private medical insurance, check your insurer's rules first, as some need to approve treatment before it starts.

Where exactly is the clinic?
The clinic will be at 17 King Street, Clitheroe BB7 2EU, in a stone-built terrace with a ground-floor shopfront in the town centre. We open on Tuesday 3 November 2026.
Where can I park, and can I get here by public transport?
Railway View car park (pay and display, about 84 spaces, with EV charging) and the Market car park are a short walk away. The clinic shares its postcode with the bus stands and railway station, so the Ribble Valley line to Blackburn and Manchester is close by.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with us. If you plan to claim on private medical insurance, please check with your insurer before you book, as some need to approve treatment first. Tell us your insurer when you book and we will explain how claiming works.
Do you visit homes in the Ribble Valley villages?
Yes. Our mobile home-visit physiotherapy covers Clitheroe and villages including Whalley, Langho, Read, Sabden, Chatburn, Waddington and Longridge. Contact us to check your address.
What happens at the first appointment?
Your first appointment is a full assessment, where we listen to your history, look at how you move and talk through the next steps with you. We will agree a plan with you before we start treatment. If we think you need medical advice beyond physiotherapy, we will tell you and suggest you speak to your GP.
Do you offer dry needling or acupuncture?
We plan to offer dry needling and Western acupuncture as part of physiotherapy treatment once the clinic opens, where clinically appropriate and with your consent. We will confirm who delivers it at Clitheroe before we open, and we will always check it is suitable for you first.
How do I book?
